Custom made filaments for complex assemblies available.
Vacuum Technical Services distributes a range of standard and purpose-made filaments. Filament materials including tungsten, iridium, rhenium, and platinum are generally in stock. thorium oxide and yttrium oxide coating are available and filaments can be vacuum annealed on request. A repair/replacement service for ionization gauge filaments is offered along with conversion of gauges from non-replaceable to replaceable filaments where appropriate. We are also pleased to quote competitive prices for large and small quantities of filament wire.
